ABOUT US 

Community Sparks Change was founded within the borough of Lambeth, known for its vibrant community which offers an enriching and dynamic environment.  We work with schools, families and communities in Lambeth and engage with young people aged from 5-18 years old. We pride ourselves on offering a provisional alternative service to our young people with our inspirational workshops and aspirational projects. Our environment is always bustling with fun-filled energy when carrying out our constructive and impactful activities. We want to ensure that young people have an improved sense of self worth and belonging in todays world. 

OUR VISION

CSC's vision is that all children and young people regardless of background or social standing have access to the right resources, with the support from the right people. If a child or young person is excluded before they are offered help, it can represent a critical turning point increasing the likelihood of that child developing poorer mental health and other multiple poor outcomes. CSC's vision is to be able to position ourselves between the young people and their schools, parents and carer and communities to ensure that everyone's needs are met. 

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to be able to create a positive and lasting change in the lives of young people who would otherwise suffer from disadvantage at their starting point.  

• Our primary focus is to work with children who have additional learning needs such as,  (SEND/ASN/ALN), eligibility for free school meals (FSM) and those who have Child in Need (CiN) status. 
•  We are strong advocates for being able to provide support and represent the underrepresented communities and those for whom the existing education system does not deliver accordingly to their additional needs.
