MeET The TEAM

Karuna is the Project and Programme Lead at Community Sparks Change, bringing extensive experience in project management, youth and community development, and programme delivery. She is trained in safeguarding, Special Educational Needs (SEN), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) support, ensuring activities are inclusive and responsive to the needs of all participants. As a qualified Mental Health First Aider, Karuna is passionate about creating safe, supportive environments where young people and families can thrive, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Inaara Awan is a Team Leader at Community Sparks Change with a strong background in supporting children and young people. She has experience in speech and language development and is trained in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) support. Inaara holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is currently studying for a Master's degree in Children's Psychology. She is a qualified Mental Health First Aider, she is passionate about helping young people build confidence, develop essential life skills, and reach their full potential in a safe and supportive environment.

Hector Griffiths is a Youth Worker at Community Sparks Change with valuable experience supporting children and young people in educational settings. He has worked as a Teaching Assistant and specialises work within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), supporting young people who require additional educational and behavioural support. Hector is passionate about helping young people overcome challenges, build confidence, and engage positively with learning and personal development opportunities. His experience enables him to provide guidance, mentorship, and a supportive presence for participants across Community Sparks Change programmes.
