Your information. A clear explanation.
Public information and email-only enquiries. Online forms are closed. Updated November 2026.
Who is responsible
Community Sparks Change Ltd, company number 13365336, is the controller for information it receives in CSC enquiries. Our privacy contact is team@communitysparkschange.org. The team mailbox is the responsible contact; no named data protection officer is represented.
Email-only enquiries
This website accepts no online service, event, booking or session interest submissions. Email links open your own email app with a service subject only. You write and send the email manually; clicking a link does not submit an enquiry or save your contact details.
Your email provider and CSC's email providers handle the message you choose to send. Include only adult contact details and information needed to discuss the service. No order, booking or place is confirmed, and no payment is taken.
Parents and carers
Online parent-interest registration is closed. Email only your adult contact details and the activity of interest. Do not send a child's name, birth date, medical information or safeguarding reports. Child bookings, payments, attendance and sensitive onboarding are not open. Ordinary email is not an emergency channel: for immediate danger call 999.
Why we use emailed information
CSC uses the adult contact details, service information and correspondence you choose to email to respond to your request, assess possible services and resolve follow-up. Our basis is legitimate interests in responding to contact you request, using only information relevant to that conversation.
You do not have to email us. Without a reply address or relevant details we may be unable to respond. We do not treat an enquiry as marketing consent, add you to automated marketing, or make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Browsing, cookies and browser storage
This website is hosted by Netlify, which may receive connection and browser information and technical logs when you visit. Google Fonts receives requests and connection information when fonts load. No advertising pixels or marketing analytics are configured in the website code. This is not a claim that hosting providers perform no logging or use no cookies.
The website does not store enquiry details in your browser and has no public accounts or sign-in.
Historical records
Service enquiries and limited parent-interest records saved through CSC's previous website remain private. They are not publicly accessible. Separately authorised CSC staff can review and delete these records. Parent-interest records can include parent contact, programme/day and age band, not child identities or health information.
Providers and international processing
Recipients include authorised CSC staff, the email providers involved in a message you send, Netlify (website hosting), the provider holding CSC's historical records, and Google Fonts. Providers may process information outside the UK.
CSC has not verified all processing locations, subprocessors or applicable transfer arrangements. We do not claim UK-only processing, executed processor terms or particular transfer safeguards. Contact the team for current information.
Retention
Emailed enquiries and historical records should be retained only while needed to respond, resolve follow-up or address the particular request. When a request closes or is withdrawn, CSC must review the remaining purpose and delete information no longer needed.
Any continued retention for an actual legal requirement or unresolved complaint must have an identified reason, be limited to necessary information and be reviewed when that reason ends. No automatic deletion schedule or fixed duration is claimed. Deletion from active records or mailboxes does not guarantee immediate removal from provider backups or logs.
Your rights
Email team@communitysparkschange.org to request access, correction, erasure or restriction, or to object to legitimate-interest processing. Portability applies where its legal conditions are met. Rights are subject to applicable legal conditions; CSC may need proportionate information to verify your identity.
You can raise concerns with CSC or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Do not include sensitive child details in an ordinary enquiry.
